FAQ
Up until what format can things be printed?
Our maximum format of printing sheets counts 48 x 33 cm of which 45 x 31,5 cm are the actual printing section. This is a standard format for the HP Indigo Press 5500.
What strength of material can be worked with?
The HP Indigo Press 5500 can work with a material strength from 0,05 mm up until 0,4 mm. This equates to approximately 60 g/m2 up until 400 g/m2.
Can there be used any kind of paper?
No! You can only use paper certified by HP Indigo without any problems. All of them are of high quality standards and cover a whole range of paper kinds. We recommend a consultation with one of our experts – which is always very exciting.
Up until now we work with FEDRIGONI and MOHAWK. But the list of manufacturers keeps on growing.
Can you print other bright colours on dark paper?
Yes! In that case the white ink will be set with bright colours which will then be printed over by other colours.
Can you print on foil?
Certainly! Even with white ink. An effect that up till now wasn’t possible.
Starting from how many printings can you produce?
We start production from 1 piece. There are no limits set to any number counting above.
Can I also print „normal“ things?
For sure. We are classical digital and offset printers although we mainly focus on personalised digital print.
Can you combine digital with offset print?
This is hard to be answered and will always have to be tested first. Paper for digital print is treated with primer. Therefore the printing order has to be offset and then digital. If you wish for we could produce your products using offset and combine them with digital print after.
Is WhiteInk print more expensive than the regular digital production?
Yes, unfortunately it is slightly more expensive. For one thing because it is handled like a special colour as it is used with offset printing. There have to be made adjustments and the cleaning process takes some time – all to achieve the best quality there is. Another reason is that the effort depends on the material on which you want to print on: for example applying white ink onto black paper is more difficult than on light grey paper concerning the ink coverage.

Can you handle the shipping (lettershop) for me?
Of course we can. We are specialised in personalised address. This includes processing, lettershop and logistics.
